What does FVS mean in SOCIETIES

The purpose of the FVS is to promote the practice of vascular medicine and science in the state of Florida while advocating for quality vascular care and patient safety through education and information sharing.

Membership is open to any healthcare professional involved in or interested in vascular medicine, including but not limited to vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, internal medicine specialists, endocrinologists, neurologists, podiatrists, physician assistants and other non-physician providers.

The FVS provides networking opportunities with peers across different disciplines involved in vascular care as well as continuing education opportunities for members. The FVS also offers access to publications related to current trends in vascular health care. Additionally, members have access to advocacy resources on issues related to physician licensure and regulation as well as information concerning reimbursement strategy from public and private sources.
