What does IEE mean in ENVIRONMENTAL

The Interdisciplinary Environmental Expedition is a program that provides participants the opportunity to explore different parts of the world while gaining valuable knowledge on international sustainability issues. Through this program, individuals learn about environmental topics such as climate change, conservation, and more.

Through IEE, participants are able to engage in interdisciplinary debates about sustainabilty topics, such as energy use, water access, and waste management. During their field trips, individuals also become aware of their own impact on the environment and how to minimize it.

The IEE program is open to anyone interested in participating in a unique learning opportunity related to global sustainability issues. Participants must be over 18 years old and must have basic knowledge related to environmental science topics prior to joining the expedition team.

Each IEE expedition typically lasts around two months depending on where the trip takes place. During these two months participants will visit different countries and engage in lectures from international experts as well as different hands-on activities related to environmental protection and conservation efforts.

Participants don't need any particular skill set for an IEE expedition but being open-minded, enthusiastic about learning new things related to global sustainability matters is essential. Additionally strong communication skills will help make discussions flow smoother between members of the group.
