What does PLDP mean in LEADERSHIP

The Principal Leadership Development Programme (PLDP) is an internationally recognised programme that provides senior education leaders with an extensive range of professional development opportunities to further develop their skills and knowledge in order to lead their schools and improve educational outcomes. It focuses on providing school leaders with the necessary skills and experience to lead the transformation of their schools into high-performing learning environments for all students.

PLDP is open to any school leader, including principals, assistant principals, vice-principals and other senior education leaders with at least three years’ experience in a leadership role. It is also available for experienced educators who are wanting to pursue a career in school leadership.
