What does ACA mean in ASSOCIATIONS

The Avid Customer Association (ACA) is a membership-based organization consisting of customers from all around the world that are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and experience with Avid products and services. ACA members work together to contribute to a greater understanding and use of Avid technology, as well as create connections between the user community and the Avid team.

Membership in the ACA is currently limited to customers who have purchased an eligible version of Avid software or hardware product. To become an active member, you will need to enter your registration code in your MyAvid account. Once registered, you can access all of the features available through the ACA website.

As an ACA member, you are eligible for exclusive discounts on selected products and services. Additionally, by joining as part of a group or company, you can also benefit from discounted pricing on additional products and special offers not available to individual members. You will gain access to exclusive forums & resources that provide information on how to optimize your workflow with Avid tools as well as stay up-to-date on new releases and other industry news.

Members meet at least once per year at a major event such as NAB Show or at a smaller regional gathering organized by one or more local members. Occasional webinars are also held throughout each year where members can connect in real time through video chat tools such as Skype.

Membership is free! However there may be some associated costs depending on which event or meeting you attend. These costs usually cover food, transportation and lodging when applicable so it’s best to check ahead of time what types of expenses may be incurred before committing fully to attending any specific event or meeting.

At each meeting; members share experiences about using different tools within the suite of applications as well discuss best practices for using those applications effectively in real production scenarios. They may also take part in tutorials or demonstrations that show off particular features, collaborate on creating innovative projects, talk about future developments with products, etc…

Yes! If space allows non-members may have an opportunity to sit in on complimentary sessions during any meeting depending on availability. However they are encouraged to register for membership prior to attending if they wish to take full advantage of discounted pricing for additional sessions offered during each event.

Although there is no specific age requirement for membership; we typically recommend adults aged 18+ due to subject matter discussed during meetings which may include topics that younger individuals would not find interesting nor benefit from participating in.
