What does ACA mean in ACADEMIC & SCIENCE

The Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) is a non-profit international network of higher education institutions and organizations from all over the world, working together in the field of higher education research, development and innovation.

The objectives of the ACA are to promote cooperation between institutions in different countries, to foster an international exchange of knowledge, information and experience, and to contribute to the development of global education through dialogue, networking activities and research collaborations.

Institutions that share the values and mission of ACA are welcome to become members. This includes universities, research institutes and other public or private entities engaged in educational activities.

There is no membership fee or any other cost involved with joining ACA.

Through its various activities such as conferences, workshops, webinars and seminars, the main aim of ACA is to facilitate policy dialogue among its members by providing comprehensive information on current trends in higher education developments worldwide.

As a member you get access to valuable resources such as databases with up-to-date information on higher education developments around the world; you have access to virtual networks for exchanging experiences with colleagues from other countries; you can participate in high quality training & workshops related to your field; you are invited to meetings & symposiums organized by many partners all over Europe and beyond; and finally you can benefit from strategic advice about policy issues affecting your institution or organization.

All individuals interested in participating at our events may do so after registering as a participant on our web site. Unfortunately we cannot accept registrations from persons under 18 years old.

Yes, there are certain criteria that need be met before applying for membership at the association – applicants must have at least three years' experience in academic development, hold qualifications appropriate for their membership level (student/associate/affiliate/member)and adhere to an ethical code which promotes high standards within higher education.

After submitting your application it will go through an evaluation process where it has to be approved by those responsible before it’s accepted into full membership status within the association.
