What does VSR mean in SPORTS

Virginia Sport Riders (VSR) is a statewide motorcycle enthusiast group dedicated to promoting and supporting a positive motorcycle riding culture in the state of Virginia. The goal of VSR is to bring together motorcyclists from all around the state, to promote safe and responsible motorcycle riding while having fun experiences.

Membership with VSR is completely free of charge. To become a member you must have access to ride a motorcycle or ATV in Virginia, as well as the ability to follow all the safety rules and regulations regarding motorcycle riding in the state. Additionally, you need to provide an email address and basic information before being added into our database.

As a member of VSR, you gain access to exclusive benefits, such as discounts on participating vendors, priority registration for events, promotions on various products and services, discounts on hotels and special access to exclusive activities. You will also be able to connect with other members, share tips and knowledge about motorcycling activities within Virginia.

Yes! VSR hosts several events throughout the year such as rides around scenic areas in Virginia, races at racetracks within the state and organized meets at designated locations where riders can get together for socializing and networking opportunities. Additionally, we are also partnering with different organizations for special events such as seminars or workshops that focus on safety education or professional development topics related to motorcycling.

Generally speaking, no special equipment is necessary other than having your own functioning motorcycle that passes all safety requirements set forth by the state. However each event may have its own individual requirements that must be followed including wearing proper safety clothing (helmets & protective gear) or pre-registering prior to attending an event.

Absolutely! The safety of our members is always top priority which is why it’s important for everyone to abide by all rules set forth by each event organizer. This includes following posted speed limits during rides/races while respecting local law enforcement personnel who may be present at some locations. Furthermore riders should adhere to proper etiquette which includes not engaging in reckless driving behavior such as weaving in & out of traffic or wheelies so as not disturb other motorists.

No. All participants are required sign up through our waiver form before attending any of our hosted events which states that each participant takes full responsibility for any injuries they might suffer during their time spent attending said event(s).
