What does ASSA mean in SOCIETIES

The Swiss Association for Environmental Simulation (SVU) is an organization dedicated to making advances in the field of environmental simulation. Our mission is to promote research into simulating, understanding, and ultimately controlling our environment by using simulation methods. We are committed to creating a strong network of professionals from different areas of expertise who can come together and share their knowledge and experience to advance the field.

The SVU hosts a variety of different events such as conferences, workshops, seminars, symposiums, and more. These events are organized with the aim of bringing together industry experts from different fields in order to discuss and exchange ideas on relevant topics related to environmental simulation.

The SVU currently has over 1000 active members worldwide who are all actively engaged in facilitating simulations, advancing research, and developing new models. Our membership base is very diverse; consisting of educators as well as researchers from both academia and industry.
