What Is Lingua Franca Nova?

Lingua Franca Nova (LFN), also known as Fraterni Lingua or International Auxiliary Language (IAL), is a constructed language (also known as conlang) which was designed with the purpose of providing an easy-to-learn international auxiliary means of communication for anyone to use. By being based on the Romance languages – specifically Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian – many Romance-speaking people are able to learn LFN with relative ease compared to other conlangs.
