Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) is a professional junior competitive dance studio located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company is owned and operated by world-renowned dance instructor, Abby Lee Miller, who has been teaching and training aspiring dancers for over 25 years. ALDC offers classes in all forms of dance including hip hop, contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, acro and more. We offer recreational and competitive classes for all ages and abilities!

Yes! ALDC offers virtual classes so that our students can continue their training from the comfort of their own homes or wherever they may be. Our vibrant online community strives to bring the same high-quality instruction that dancers would receive in person. No matter where you are in the world, we provide an exciting atmosphere to learn the art of dance with plenty of resources to achieve excellence.

Yes! At ALDC we believe proper attire is necessary for proper technique which will help students develop into stronger performers. During class each student must wear appropriate attire including tight fitted clothing along with proper footwear including ballet slippers or jazz sneakers depending on what kind of class they are taking. Hair must also be pulled back away from face into either a bun or ponytail but no hats or other headwear allowed during classes.

Before being eligible to join one of our competitive teams we require students to train in the house for at least 1 year minimum as well as complete a series of testing assessments prior to being accepted onto one of our teams. This allows us to make sure our dancers are prepared both physically and mentally for the rigors that come with competing at higher levels.

Yes! In addition to running her studio and teaching multiple classes every day- Abby also provides private coaching sessions focused on helping dancers reach their maximum potential on stage. There’s no better way than personal coaching from one of the most experienced instructors in the industry today!

Absolutely! We prioritize providing an exciting yet safe environment for our competitors both near and far away from home. We take pride in attending competitions throughout Pennsylvania as well as traveling across state lines offering opportunities for all types of age groups when it comes to competition season here at ALDC!

Everyone is welcome here at ALDC – no auditions required! While we do have competitive teams that require testing periods before acceptance – any student wanting to take part in recreational or beginner level classes will not need any prior experience nor do they need an audition process prior to registration.

At ABBY LEE DANCE COMPANY we value each and every one of our students’ safety above all else - which is why have a strict rule system implemented within the studio along with strict sanitizing procedures regularly enforced by staff members throughout class hours every day.

After every class you are guaranteed thoughtful constructive criticism when it comes your performance during class. Our instructors strive hard every day to make sure their students understand what they did wrong while giving advice on how they can improve themselves - whether it be choreography related critiques or simple posture reminders.

Absolutely! Throughout the year you will see us hosting all kinds events such as workshops featuring guest drivers from around the country along side masterclasses hosted by Abby herself plus much more - giving everyone an opportunity learn even more about Dance while having fun doing it together!
