What does DLF mean in FOUNDATIONS

Darbari Lal Foundation (DLF) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of Indians by providing basic needs and access to resources. We work with people, institutions, and governments to develop sustainable strategies for economic growth and social change. Our mission is to create lasting positive change through education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, community development and other initiatives.

Grants or funding from DLF may be sought by non-profit organizations working towards our goal of empowering communities through education, health care access, enterprise development, economic development or any other initiative consistent with our mission statement. To qualify for consideration as a grant recipient, applicants must provide evidence of need within the target population as well as demonstrate a clear plan for how funds will be managed responsibly during implementation of proposed activities or projects.

Yes! All donations made towards DLFs activities are eligible for 100% tax deduction under Section 80G (5)(VI) & Rule 11 AA (1) of Income Tax Act 1961 when fulfilled according to applicable laws & regulations.

At present we prioritize projects focused on improving healthcare access along with educational opportunities in rural areas across India through quality infrastructure construction & renovation where required; connecting income generation opportunities among women self-help groups; providing livelihood training courses; building community capacity around water conservation issues; & many more such initiatives involving leading NGOs & foundations aligned closely with ours.
