What does ADMI mean in ASSOCIATIONS

The Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India (ADMI) is a non-profit, self-regulatory organization that represents the medical diagnostics industry. Established in 2000, ADMI actively promotes fair trade practices and ethical business standards among its members as well as works towards improved access to diagnostic services and better healthcare for all.

ADMI focuses on strengthening the regulatory framework for diagnostics in India by working closely with government bodies to ensure compliance to laws and regulations. Through advocacy and health awareness initiatives, it supports greater access to quality healthcare services at an affordable cost. Additionally, it works to promote innovations within the industry, defend the interests of its member companies on important national policy issues and provide capacity building through training programs.

Membership in ADMI is open to any Indian or foreign company involved in manufacturing or trading of medical diagnostic/lab equipment, kits, reagents or other related materials. Pharmaceuticals companies are also welcome as honorory members.

Companies must submit a completed membership application form along with relevant documents such as PAN Card, Income Tax Certificate etc. Once approved by the Executive Committee, companies become eligible members of ADMI. An annual subscription fee must be paid in order to maintain active membership status.

All new admission applications are evaluated by a specialized 3-member committee appointed by the Executive Committee which comprises senior industry representatives from different regions across India.
