What does ACIC mean in MILITARY

The Army Counterintelligence Center (ACIC) is an intelligence agency of the United States Army focused on providing specialized counterintelligence, research and analysis services to the Department of Defense and other members of the U.S. Intelligence Community. ACIC provides strategic and operational counterintelligence support to defend against threats posed by adversaries, to protect sensitive activities, protect sources and methods, counter the efforts of foreign powers to acquire sensitive defense information or technologies, and to uncover illegal activities related to espionage or sabotage.

ACIC provides a range of specialized counterintelligence services and products including: threat assessments; investigation and surveillance operations; technical operations; analytical reports; defensive countermeasures; and outreach programs to educate personnel about potential security threats.
