History

Action Arms Ltd. was founded in 1976 by Israeli entrepreneur Uzi Gal. Gal had previously developed the Uzi submachine gun for the Israeli Defense Forces, which propelled him to notoriety in the international armaments industry and made him a wealthy man. He immediately set his sights on creating a new line of firearms that would be widely available to the public at large, rather than just available to governments or military personnel. This goal was achieved with the creation of AAL’s firearms line that featured handguns, long guns such as rifles and shotguns, along with related components and accessories such as silencers and flash suppressors.

Products

AAL specializes in producing military-style weapons such as machine guns, assault rifles and submachine guns, although they do produce other types of firearms as well. One of their more popular models is the Desert Eagle pistol which has been featured in several major motion pictures throughout the years including “Die Hard With a Vengeance”, “The Matrix Reloaded” and “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” among others. Other popular models include their Magnum Research Baby Eagle semi automatic handgun as well as their AR-10 style rifle which has become increasingly popular among American gun enthusiasts due to its power while still being lightweight enough for transportability during hunting expeditions or tactical operations.
