What does ACSE mean in ENGINEERING

Advances in Ceramic Science and Engineering (ACSE) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and technical notes devoted to the broad field of ceramic science and engineering. It covers topics from fundamental studies of materials to advanced technologies for industrial applications.

ACSE welcomes contributions from all areas of ceramic science and engineering. Papers can be submitted by independent investigators, industry professionals, students or collaborative teams.

The journal accepts manuscripts on both fundamental and applied research topics that cover all aspects related to the production, processing and characterization of ceramics. This includes ceramic material formation processes; synthesis; mechanical properties; microstructure; performance under extreme conditions; electrical properties; thermo-mechanical behavior; failure analysis; dielectrics; composites; powder processing modeling; tribology & lubrication systems etc.

Yes! All authors should follow the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals when preparing their article which is available at http://www.icmje.org/recommendations/. In addition to general formatting guidelines, each article should also include an abstract as well as figures or tables if necessary for illustration purposes in order to aid readers’ understanding- please refer to our Submission Guidelines page for more information about formatting requirements.

At present, we publish full research papers (research articles), review articles (critical appraisal of existing literature with <10k words), technical notes (<3k words), editorials (authored commentaries on current issues), opinions/essays (single authored reflections), short communications (brief reports based on preliminary studies) and news updates (news briefs). We welcome innovative submissions such as video clips or audio clips with narrations accompanying them too! Submissions should be written using correct English grammar which will then be edited according to our style guide if accepted into publication.

There are no hidden charges associated with it either so you do not need to pay anything at any part during the process – even after you have been accepted into publication. We ask authors only for their time during the submission process before selecting their paper for peer-review evaluation by our experts panel - this ensures quality assurance before we make publication decisions on submitted works!

Authors who submit their manuscripts can expect initial feedback from us within two weeks upon receipt - followed by editorial board review results within four weeks after submission – though times may vary depending on the volume and complexity of your work as well as how much editing needs done before its ready for publication/evaluation purposes. If accepted into publication authors can look forward towards their paper being released online within 8 weeks after acceptance date!
