The Bucknell Professional Network (BPN) is an on-line platform designed to help Bucknell alumni connect with one another for professional development and networking opportunities. BPN provides alumni access to a directory of hundreds of professionals, career resources, jobs postings and events, which allow members to stay connected after leaving Bucknell.

All alumni from Bucknell University are eligible to join the BPN. The network also welcomes current students and faculty who have relationships to the university.

No, membership in the BPN is free and open to all registered users.

Yes, BPN offers access to a number of job postings from various employers and organizations looking for qualified candidates. Additionally, you can search other users’ profiles for potential contacts within their current organization that might be able to provide leads on additional opportunities outside of the posted listings on the site itself.

After registering for an account with your email address, you will be taken through a brief questionnaire that will ask you questions about your professional background and interests. You can then customize your profile by adding more information about yourself such as education history, professional experience,etc., as well as listing upcoming events or any openings at your organization that would benefit other network members.

Non-members are able to read certain public discussion threads but cannot post any new content or reply directly to existing discussions. However if you register an account with your email address you will be granted full access to all parts of the network which includes posting new threads and replying directly within conversations.

Yes - Once you have setup your profile page you’ll have option link it together with Facebook Twitter etc., accounts by clicking appropriate icons located at top right corner section under ‘Settings’ tab allowing other users easily gain access those outlets depending upon user preferences settings they setup initially.
