What does TME mean in UNCLASSIFIED

Thirty Miles Endless is situated in the Pisgah National Forest, spanning parts of Transylvania, Henderson, and Buncombe counties in Western North Carolina. It follows the course of the Davidson River, connecting the towns of Brevard and Asheville.

The TME road was originally constructed in the late 19th century as a toll road for farmers and lumbermen. In the 1920s, it was designated as a state highway and later became part of the National Scenic Byway system. The byway was named "Thirty Miles Endless" due to its seemingly endless twists and turns along the Davidson River.

Along the TME Scenic Byway, you can enjoy:
