What does GAST mean in ACADEMIC & SCIENCE

The Ghana Association of Science Teachers (GAST) is dedicated to providing resources, support and advocacy for science teachers and educators across Ghana. Its aim is to promote the importance of science education and increase excellence in teaching and student learning.

Any person who works as a science teacher or works with science teachers in any capacity, including university lecturers, is eligible to become a member of GAST. You can fill out the membership form on our website or contact us directly for more information.

There are three different membership plans available for individuals. Basic membership costs Gh¢60 per year, premium membership costs Gh¢120 per year and lifetime memberships can be purchased at Gh¢600 each. All members receive access to resources and discounts on activities.

As a GAST member you will have access to our extensive resource library, professional development programs, discounts on conferences and events, and special offers from education companies. You will also gain access to an active network of passionate like-minded educators from across Ghana.

Yes! We welcome contributions from any individual or organization that shares our commitment to promoting science education in Ghana. You can volunteer your time or skills with the organization or make donations directly through our website.
