About BMRCL
BMRCL is governed by a Board of Directors comprising representatives from both Governments - each with equal representation. The board meets regularly to review progress and discuss issues related to project plans, operations and other activities. BMRCL operates two lines — Green Line and Purple Line — connecting east-west locations as well as north-south locations. The Green Line runs between Nagasandra in North Bangalore to Yelachenahalli in South Bangalore while the Purple Line runs between Baiyappanahalli in East Bangalore to Mysore Road Station in West Bangalore. All stations are equipped with modern amenities including fare ticketing machines, customer service counters, elevators for convenient movement, CCTV cameras for enhanced security etc.
