Radio Montserrat began broadcasting in 1967 from studios on Market Street in Plymouth, then the capital city of the island. Initially it was called “Radio 759” due to its 759 AM frequency range at the time; however this changed over years with name designs such as “ZJMS-AM” (1967-1978) “Radio Montserrat – ZJMS-AM” (1978-1993) and finally just “ZJB – Radio Montserrat” (1993 – present).
