What does YOC mean in COMMUNITY

YOC works with youth around the world to create meaningful change in their communities by providing resources and facilitating connections on a global scale. YOC also provides consultations and training services to boost youth leadership and help navigate complex policy issues such as immigration reform, education access, and health care security.

Youth Organizing Communities is open to all individuals ages 13-25 who have the passion and drive to make a positive impact in their community. Members can join either virtually or through local chapters to take part in connecting with peers, participating in trainings & events, and accessing important tools & resources.

YOC provides an array of resources for its member base so that they can educate themselves about factors impacting their community as well as advocate for causes affecting them directly. Additionally, through workshops, online publications, and campaigns tackled both virtually and offline, members can build confidence while engaging with other young people actively working towards the same cause.
