Depending on which type of exam you are having you may need to arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment time so that you can prepare for the exam or provide required lab information. During your appointment our staff will explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have before beginning your exam. At times certain position will need to be held for several seconds during the scan in order for our team members to obtain optimal images. After your exam is complete you will be given instructions on rescheduling as needed if additional views are required or if additional follow up instructions are indicated.

Results from exams completed at YDR can typically be expected within 48 hours Monday – Friday; however exceptions may occur depending on holidays or other extenuating circumstances depending upon which type of examination was performed.

Yes, once your results are finalized they will be sent electronically or via hard copy either directly to your health care provider if requested or it can also be provided directly onto our patient portal where both patient's and referring doctor's can view all reports online securely.

Yes! For convenience we offer an online Patient Portal where patients can log into their accounts with specific credentials and securely access their medical records as well as communicate directly with our team when needed.

No, while it’s important that younger children feel safe in such experiences we do not enforce any age restrictions on our Imaging Services; however due to safety regulations additional guardian assistance may need to be present if necessary.
