What does WSF mean in FOUNDATIONS

Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) is a non-profit organization that gives back to wildlife conservation and education through habitat preservation, youth programs, research initiatives and scholarships. Our mission is to provide support for the conservation of wild sheep populations worldwide and their habitats through education, advocacy, leadership and development of programs dedicated to this purpose.

The Wild Sheep Foundation works to protect wild sheep populations across the globe by preserving their habitats and providing educational opportunities for youths who are interested in learning about these species. We also promote scientific research onwild sheep management and advocate for responsible hunting regulations. Through our work we strive to conserve wild sheep herds for future generations.

The Wild Sheep Foundations was founded in 1977 and since then it has grown from a small group of individuals passionate about protecting wild sheep into an international organization dedicated to helping maintain healthy populations of these animals around the world.

The Wild Sheep Foundation accepts monetary donations as well as gifts such as equipment or supplies that can be used in our field research or habitat preservation efforts. We also welcome volunteers who wish to assist us with our various initiatives.

As an international organization, we felt the effects of COVID-19 both locally and abroad—but this hasn’t stopped us from continuing our mission thanks largely due to your ongoing support. We have pivoted many of our activities into virtual formats so that we can continue educating people about conservation efforts from around them world safely and effectively.
