What does WIP mean in UNCLASSIFIED

WIP stands for Wireless Industry Partnership and is a non-governmental organization that works to develop responsible wireless communications policies, encourage efficient use of spectrum resources, promote innovative technologies and expand the use of wireless communications to new users.

WIP works by engaging with wireless industry stakeholders in a collaborative manner to identify key challenges and solutions. This includes working with governments, industry partners, consumer groups, technology leaders, think tanks and academia on policy development, regulatory processes, consumer protection initiatives and more.
