What does WGC mean in GOLF

The World Golf Championships (WGC) are a group of four annual golf tournaments that each host a field of elite professional golfers. They are held by four major tours including the PGA TOUR, European Tour, Japan Golf Tour and Asian Tour. The WGC events have been around since 1999, and they have become a staple in international golf.

The WGC tournaments are hosted on different courses around the world which vary year to year. This ensures that players get to test their skills on diverse courses and styles of play. In 2020-2021, the WGC is being hosted in Mexico City, Japan, South Korea and England.
