What does VRL mean in RACING

The Virtual Racing League (VRL) is a multi-discipline motorsports championship series which combines real-world driving dynamics with state of the art virtual racing technology to create an unparalleled online racing experience. The VRL features a variety of classes from F1, GT3 and endurance racing, to rallycross and drifting events, and caters for both professional drivers and sim racers alike.

To join the VRL you must first register at our website, where you will create your user profile. Once you have created your profile, you can apply for any available VIP or private league events that you wish to participate in. You can also take part in public online races or use the free time trial mode to hone your skills before entering competitions.

To compete in the VRL you will need a gaming PC/laptop with one of our supported wheels/pedals sets, plus an internet connection (both wired and wireless are supported). You will also require a valid subscription to our chosen simulator software, such as Assetto Corsa Competizione or iRacing.

The Virtual Racing League is highly competitive and provides a challenging environment for drivers from all abilities. Our Leagues feature some of the most talented sim racers from across Europe and beyond, while our Public Races welcome all levels of drivers – so no matter your level there’s something for everyone!

The top three finishers in each class at every event receive points towards their championship standings, while there are also additional prizes for particularly strong performance throughout a season – such as driver’s championships or team trophies. Additionally we offer prizes including cash rewards, exclusive merchandise items or even tickets to real-world events!

Yes - team activities form an important part of our online racing experience! In addition to solo races, teams can enter special team events such as relay races if they wish - where each driver takes it in turns to race on behalf of their team. Teams who achieve good results over a season may be eligible for special prizes too!

Yes - sim racing requires specific hardware and software which has been built specifically for this type of activity. Our recommended simulator software includes titles such as Assetto Corsa Competizione or iRacing - though other options may be available depending on your platform (PC/console). Additionally you'll need a suitable wheel/pedal set plus an internet connection (both wired & wireless).

Aside from any membership fees associated with joining VIP private leagues or competitions outside of our normal public event structure - no other costs should be incurred by taking part in standard public events within the VRL except those necessary for purchasing any required sim racing hardware & software such as wheel/pedal sets or simulator titles like AC Comp., iRacing etc.
