What does VHS mean in UNCLASSIFIED

VHS stands for Vision Huddle and Skills. It is a program designed to help develop leadership skills for individuals, teams and organisations through structured huddles. These huddles focus on vision, goals and reflective practice to encourage growth in areas such as risk management, communications and decision making.

The VHS program consists of six phases that allow participants to reflect on their current context, identify strengths and weaknesses in their leadership style, create action plans for improvement and track their progress over time. The program begins by setting objectives, followed by building self-awareness through guided activities and discussion points. Participants then craft a vision for themselves or their team before setting achievable goals that are worked toward in controlled steps. Finally, tracking progress enables teams to measure performance against goals and adjust strategies accordingly when needed.

Participating in the VHS program can provide numerous benefits which include increased knowledge of effective methods of communication within groups; improved understanding of how to develop clear visions with achievable goals; better risk management abilities; development of better decision-making processes; increased confidence and self-esteem due to accomplishments achieved through efforts taken during the program; and stronger collaboration among team members as well as higher morale throughout organizations.

In order to take part in the VHS Program individuals will need access to a computer or other device capable of downloading relevant resources or accessing online sessions. Additionally, participants should expect to dedicate between four (4) hours per week studying materials provided by course facilitators either online or offsite if attending classes virtually/in person.

While it is recommended that interested participants already have an understanding of basic leadership principles prior to beginning the course, no specific qualifications or experience requirements are necessary for enrollment into the program. However, it is important that all learners possess discipline and commitment when engaging with course modules both independently or collaboratively with other students/participants during each phase of the course respectively.

Generally speaking, completion timelines depend largely on individual needs or if a group chooses a tailored approach factoring its particular context into account (planning/implementation stages etc.). During this period participants may choose/agree upon deadlines collaborating together which involve an efficient use of available resources such as tutor support to achieve desired outcomes within set timeframes. On average it takes 8 weeks from start date until completion.

Generally speaking most relevant resources are provided at no extra cost though some extra tuition/mentoring services may be offered at an additional cost dependent upon each individual’s requirements (optional). During initial enrolment tutors will provide further information about bespoke services made available during the duration of your studies.

Upon successful completion individuals who have achieved satisfactory results within assessment exercises are expected present case studies reflective upon personal achievements from reflection upon previous huddles undertaken throughout their journey leading up to graduation day.
