What does USMS mean in STATES

Yes! USMS is a member of USA Swimming -the national governing body for competitive swimming in the U.S.- and works closely with them in order to provide quality programming to its members. Through our affiliation we can participate in sanctioned events under the USA Swimming banner.

Established in 1970, USMS has been providing adults with the best aquatic experience possible for over fifty years now. So if you have ever wanted to get into competitive swimming or just find general fitness through watersport - we have what you need!

Joining USMS is easy! You can join online though our website where you will be asked simple questions about yourself and your aquatic preferences. Afterwards you'll receive an email confirmation once your membership is processed indicating that you are officially part of our growing family!

Yes! All memberships include insurance coverage through USA Swimming to help protect them from any accidents or injuries while participating in any activities associated with their membership. The insurance also covers both participant and volunteer roles such as coaching or official positions.

A one-year individual membership costs $45 USD for athletes 18 years old and older; $24 USD for athletes 17 years old (or younger); and $15 USD for senior athletes 65 years old (or older). Discounts may apply when purchasing multiple year memberships.

Yes! In addition to individual memberships, we offer club memberships which allow up to three people within a group to enjoy joint discounts when signing up together as well as event specific registrations which grant access only to certain competitions.
