What does ABPN mean in MEDICAL

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) is a not-for-profit corporation that is dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists. The ABPN certifies psychiatrists and neurologists who meet the specific requirements set by its member boards – the American Board of Psychiatry (ABP) and the American Board of Neurology (ABN).

To become certified by ABPN, you must fulfill all educational, training, licensure/registration, practice experience, clinical evaluation, assessment components/fees as set forth in all ABP & ABN Certification Requirements documents. You must also successfully pass examinations administered by ABP or ABN in order to become certified.
