What does TYV mean in YOUTH

Thailand Youth Voice (TYV) is a youth-led initiative for creating a space for young people to become active, engaged citizens in order to create and seize opportunities, shape public policies and achieve collective goals. We organize youth engagement activities such as policy dialogues, research projects, campaigns and advocacy initiatives to ensure that all young people in Thailand are empowered to act on issues that matter most to them.

Anyone aged between 15 – 25 years old can join the TYV network by following us on our social media channels, such as Facebook or Instagram. You may also register as a member on our official website using your email address.

TYV hosts various activities such as policy dialogues, research projects, campaigns and advocacy initiatives to empower young people in Thai society. These activities are aimed at giving young people a platform to voice their opinion and be heard by decision makers.

No, there is no cost involved with joining the TYV network or participating in our programs. All of our activities are completely free and all materials used during them will be provided free of charge.

The topics discussed during our policy dialogues depend on the current issues faced by young people in Thai society. In general, these conversations focus on education reform, healthcare access, economic opportunity and other needs identified by our members.

Yes! To participate in our research projects you need to be an active member of the TYV network who has already attended at least one event or activity organized by us. Additionally, you should have sufficient knowledge about research methodologies and understand basic concept related data collection process (quantitative/qualitative).

Yes! For every activity or program you attend or volunteer with us for more than 10 hours per month you will receive points that can be later redeemed for discounts from official vendors listed on our website. Additionally, you may also get exclusive invitations to special events hosted by us throughout the year including dinners & receptions where prestigious speakers present their views on important issues faced by young people today.

Not at all! TYV is an open organization which means we encourage members to get involved with other youth organizations too as long as it doesn’t conflict with our mission statement and objectives outlined within it. Therefore being part of multiple groups won't hinder your progress within TYV but instead help build transferable skills that may help make you even more effective within this organization.

Aside from engaging through direct events such as policy dialogues and research projects we also organize public forums across different parts of country involving prominent leaders so that young people know they have a platform they can turn too if they want their voices to be heard nationally or internationally. We also advocate at ministerial level government meetings ensuring that younger generations are always taken into account when making decisions which directly impact them.

Not necessarily - anyone who expresses interest in being a part of TYV can join regardless if they participate regularly or not; however once someone joins they should stay committed towards attending various events organized by this organization so that their own personal development never stops growing because only then can anyone truly benefit from being part of this movement.
