What does BDIP mean in UNCLASSIFIED

BDIP stands for the Bradford District Infrastructure Partnership, which is a joint venture between different local authorities in the Bradford region of the UK. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for all citizens living in Bradford through developing various high-quality and sustainable infrastructure projects.

BDIP works to revitalize and regenerate communities by collaborating with local businesses on renewable energy, public transport and other infrastructure projects. It also provides economic benefits to these businesses by encouraging investment into these projects.

The Bradford District Infrastructure Partnership has been around since 2016 when it was established with a commitment from local governments that they would work together to build infrastructure that would benefit communities throughout the district.

Several local authorities including City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (BMDC), West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) and Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDPA) are partners in the initiative.
