What Is The Toilet Paper Test?

The Toilet Paper Test (TPT) is a simple yet effective way to measure the strength, thickness and softness of different brands of toilet paper. The test was developed by Procter & Gamble and has been around since the early 1900s. Essentially, all one needs to do is place an unrolled sheet of toilet paper against their cheek for 30 seconds without crumpling it up or pressing too hard in order to feel its texture. This can determine if the sheet feels rough or smooth and if there are any lumps or bumps in it that could cause irritation. The results are then rated on a scale from 0-10 (with 10 being the best).
