What does TKL mean in INTERNATIONAL

The Kids League (TKL) is a nonprofit organization based in Uganda that works to equip youth with the skills and tools they need to become change-makers and influencers in their own communities. TKL provides youth with access to education, employment opportunities, and other life-changing resources.

TKL helps youth access quality education, gain employable skills, and find job opportunities so they can become active contributors in their community. Additionally, TKL provides young people with educational materials and guidance on safe media usage.

TKL offers a range of education programs, from pre-primary through secondary level as well as various vocational skills training courses.

Yes! After students complete their courses at TKL, the organization helps them find job placements or internships within their desired field of work. Additionally, our graduate students receive regular follow-ups from our counselors to ensure they are succeeding in their new roles and making positive changes in their lives.

TKL partners with local businesses to offer a variety of positions such internships for entrepreneurs, customer service representatives, digital marketing specialists, administrative assistants, graphic designers, software developers and more.

You can volunteer with TKL by applying as an individual or joining one of our corporate teams on a mission trip! As an individual volunteer you will have the chance to engage directly with students while corporate trips involve providing targeted advice training sessions to young people.

Absolutely! Monetary donations will go towards supporting our programs such as scholarships for disadvantaged children and helping fund innovative projects that benefit marginalized communities.
