What does BCOE mean in ENGINEERING

BCOE stands for the Bourns College of Engineering, which is a professional engineering college located on the campus of the University of California Riverside. Our college offers programs in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.

At Bourns College of Engineering, we are dedicated to providing our students with the best educational opportunities. Students may transfer courses from other accredited universities subject to review by both UC Riverside’s Office Of Admissions and Records as well as an Academic Advisor from the department offering the course(s). As long as the program requirements are satisfied by either transferring credit from an accredited institution OR through successfully completing a course equivalent offered here on UC Riverside campus then this should solve most transfer credit concerns that arise when looking into enrolling here at UC Riverside’s College Of Engineering!

Yes! At UC Riverside's Bourns College Of Engineering we understand that sometimes it just isn't feasible for everyone involved if our students have conflicting schedules due to work commitments or family obligations etc., so we do offer a number of “hybrid” courses primarily geared towards those who cannot attend lectures due to those conflicts mentioned above as well those who would simply prefer learning online versus traditional classroom style settings depending upon each individual's preference! However please note there are specific requirements & prerequisites required before enrolling into any hybrid course offered here.

Yes indeed - specifically speaking every year The Ruth Mott Scholarship is awarded annually based upon merit & need based criteria where a student must maintain a 3.5 GPA throughout their entire coursework duration here while enrolled in good standing status in order be eligible & considered towards applying/receiving this particular scholarship award distributed every semester accordingly so please make sure you take a look into it further if interested via whatever platform necessary (ie website etc)!
