What does TACT mean in TECHNOLOGY

The Tucsontechnology Access Center of Tucson (TACT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to technology education, resources, and assistance to people in the local community. TACT offers classes, workshops, and mentorship programs to help individuals and organizations learn more about technology in fields such as coding, web design, programming, and graphic design.

TACT can help you by providing access to technology resources that will improve your skillset. Through the various courses and programs offered by TACT, you can gain knowledge and hands-on experience with various technologies. Additionally, TACT has mentors who are available to provide guidance on projects or problems that you have encountered during your studies.

Yes! Students enrolled full-time at any educational institution qualify for a 50% discount off all regular course rates while low-income households may qualify for an additional 10% off of this already discounted rate when registering with proper documentation.

Absolutely! At TACT we understand that not everyone can afford our services but still wants to contribute somehow so we offer volunteer positions where individuals can help with mentoring current members, teaching introductory courses or even helping out with administrative tasks whenever possible – all without needing any previous experience in technical fields whatsoever!

It is not necessary but recommended – if you don't have your own laptop or other materials typically needed then the center provides loaners free of charge that come equipped with everything you might need during your stay here (i.e., laptops running on Windows 10 OS).
