What does STHP mean in TECHNOLOGY

The Science and Technology Honors Program (STHP) is an intensive educational initiative that allows students to participate in advanced research projects in science and technology. Students are mentored by industry professionals, faculty members, and experienced staff. Through a combination of project-based learning, lectures, field trips, and internships, students gain a strong understanding of STEM topics. The program also offers students a chance to network with other like-minded peers from around the world.

STHP seeks to provide students with a comprehensive overview of current scientific initiatives. Areas of study include mathematics, physics, biotechnology, engineering, computer science, information technology, nanotechnology, robotics and much more. All topics are relevant for today’s changing world and are tailored to meet the interests and ambitions of each student.

Generally speaking most programs require applicants to be at least 16 years old when they enroll as an STHP student; however some programs may have different entry requirements depending on their specific focus or age range. Yes! Alumni are always welcome back during special events such as graduation ceremonies or career fairs hosted by STHP campuses across the country. We also hold alumni reunions every year where former students can reconnect and share their experiences with current participants while networking with other influential individuals within the STEM community.

Depending on each individual campus location's offerings; but generally speaking STHP provides students with academic advising services through one-on-one counseling sessions as well as access to state-of-the-art labs and facilities used for research purposes alongside top industry experts from around the world who serve as mentors throughout their studies with us.
