What does ABIL mean in BUSINESS

ABIL stands for Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers.

ABIL provides a wide range of legal services related to business immigration matters including obtaining work visas, permanent residency and citizenship, employment-based green cards, employer compliance with labor and hiring laws, and more.

To become an ABIL attorney, applicants must have membership in good standing of their local or national bar association or other recognized body within their jurisdiction, must have at least five years of experience in the field of business immigration practice, must demonstrate skill and knowledge when it comes to handling cases related to business immigration law, must be able to commit enough time and resources to handle client's case timely and adequately.100 hours annual pro bono work are also required in order to maintain membership status with ABIL.

The ABIL website has an online directory that lists all current alliance members by geographic location (state/country), practice areas (immigration law fields) and languages spoken. You may use this tool to find out which attorneys are closest to your location or who specialize in your particular needs.
