What does SIMP mean in SOCIETIES

SIMP stands for Stowarzyszenie Inżynierów i Techników Mechaników Polskich, or the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians. It is a professional non-profit organization that works to represent and protect the interests of Polish mechanical engineers and technicians.

SIMP provides a range of services for its members such as representation in national and international organizations, specialized publications, networking events, continuing education programs, conferences, mentoring programs, legal consultations on employment contracts, job postings and other related services.

Anyone can apply to become a member of SIMP provided they meet certain criteria such as having an engineering or technical degree from a European university, being a registered engineer with a relevant professional certification or having worked at least four years in the field of science or engineering in Poland. Prospective members must fill out an application form which must be approved by the board before membership is granted.
