What does SD mean in FOOD & NUTRITION

SD stands for Senior Dinner.

Senior Dinners can be held the night prior to or within the week of graduation.

Senior Dinners are typically organized by teachers, administrators, or other members of the school community, depending on the nature of the event and size of the graduating class.

All graduating seniors attending the event are invited to attend. Additionally, parents, guardians, and close family members may also be invited at some events.

At a typical senior dinner, there will be food and drinks served, awards presented to outstanding students in various categories such as Academic Excellence, Most Involved Student, etc., speeches from teachers and administrators about achievements over the year's either collectively or individually for specific students. Music may also be provided for entertainment purposes along with other activities depending on what type of event it is.
