The mission of SCTH is to provide homeless individuals with the stability they need to move forward in life. Through providing safe living spaces and access to vital services, SCTH strives to assist those facing homelessness in getting back on their feet and having fulfilling, successful lives.

In addition to providing stable housing for homeless individuals, SCTH also provides its residents with access to employment opportunities, financial literacy classes, health care support, counseling services for mental health issues, educational programs and activities (such as GED classes), computer training centers, legal aid clinics, and more.

To be eligible for housing at SCTH one must meet certain requirements - be referred by an appropriate social service agency AND have been homeless or facing eviction within the past 12 months OR have some form of disability or chronic illness that puts them at risk or makes it difficult to find adequate housing in the community OR be an unaccompanied youth under 25 years old OR have discharged from correctional facility within 6 months prior.
