What does BABA mean in BASEBALL

The Badger Amateur Baseball Association (BABA) is a non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates amateur baseball in Wisconsin. It works with local teams, coaches, players, parents, and everyone else involved in the sport to ensure that Wisconsin has quality competitive amateur baseball.

BABA works to promote amateur baseball by offering resources such as league formation assistance, equipment donations, coaching clinics, youth development camps, fundraising support for teams in need, scholarships for young players, and much more.

Anyone interested in promoting or participating in amateur baseball can join BABA! This includes players aged 8 to 18 years old, coaches and managers of any age level team, parents of players or coaches/managers looking to get involved with their child's team(s), umpires looking for instruction and practice opportunities, and anyone who wants to volunteer at events or help out with the organization's various programs.

Joining BABA provides members with access to numerous resources that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to acquire. These include exclusive discounts on equipment at local stores; access to instructional materials produced by expert coaches; networking opportunities with other members; volunteer opportunities both within and outside the association; and much more.
