Rush Springs High School is situated on land granted to early homesteaders by Franklin Pierce, President of the United States from 1853-1857 as part of the Indian removal act. The original building was built in 1895 and has undergone numerous renovations over the years including additions and modifications that reflect modern teaching styles and technological needs. The school currently consists of grades 9-12 and provides a comprehensive curriculum for its student body. Students at Rush Springs are offered courses in mathematics, science, social studies, English, art, music, business education, physical education and health.
