What does RRJ mean in JOURNALS

Indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded and SCOPUS, RRJ publishes original research papers on all aspects of renewable resource science, engineering, technology, economics and policy. This includes topics such as environmental impact assessment, climate change mitigation, sustainable energy systems, biomass use and bioenergy engineering.

RRJ publishes original articles, reviews, case studies, technical notes and letters to the editor. The journal also has a special focus section that highlights timely topics in sustainability research on renewable resources.

The journal welcomes contributions from researchers from academic institutions worldwide. However authors who have no prior publication experience or have not successfully gone through a peer review process are requested to seek mentoring support before submitting their work for consideration to RRJ.

All submissions must be written in English with clear scientific merit and evidence-based arguments supported by appropriate references. Additionally all manuscripts should include a clear statement regarding the innovative elements of the work and potential applications of its findings.

All submissions undergo a blind double peer-review process where two expert reviewers assess each document's scientific merit at each stage of evaluation by the editorial board members before acceptance. Acceptance is based on quality as well as relevance to fields covered within the scope of RRJ.
