What is Run for the Wall?
Run for the Wall is an annual event that honors and remembers Vietnam veterans, prisoners of war, those missing in action, and all armed forces who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. It promotes healing among all veterans and their families and friends. The ride begins in California and ends at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.

Run for the Wall takes place annually during the month of May. The ride lasts 9 days with stops along the route at various cities throughout the United States.
How do I participate in Run for the Wall?
To participate in Run for the Wall there are two options; riding or volunteering. Riders must be physically able to travel 700 miles over a span of nine days, have a valid motorcycle license, and adhere to certain safety regulations. Volunteers can help out with planning or execution of events, fundraising activities, providing food or lodging on route stops, assisting with medical needs, providing security detail, etc..

Are there age requirements to participate?
We welcome motorcyclists of all ages however participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian while participants 18-21 must submit a notarized release form from either their parent/legal guardian or themselves once they turn 18 years old before their applications will be processed. All participants will also require appropriate identification such as State ID card or valid driver’s license upon entry into each state we visit during our annual event.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! All gifts greater than $250 require either a note from RFTW confirming your donation was received by us or an acknowledgement letter from us thanking you for your generous gift which you may use when filing your taxes.
