What does RFH mean in MEDICAL

Riders For Health provides a wide range of medical services and supplies including vaccinations, treatments for malaria and other diseases, malaria testing, health education, family planning, antenatal and postnatal care. Additionally it provides transportation for patients who need access to specialist care.

Riders For Health uses adapted motorbikes to reach communities in rural parts of developing countries that otherwise would not be able to access lifesaving medical necessities. This helps ensure that even far-flung areas can benefit from crucial healthcare services without relying on traditional transportation methods like cars or ambulances which are often unavailable in these areas.

Riders For Health currently operates in more than 25 countries globally including Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda and Uganda.

There are a number of ways you can support Riders For Health including making a donation or participating in a sponsored ride or event. You can also volunteer your time and skills as well as spread awareness about the charity through social media campaigns.

RFH is funded through private donations from individuals as well as public funds from foundations such as UK Aid Match and USAID Global Development Innovation Ventures (GDI).
