What does QRF mean in RACING

Quad Racing Finland (QRF) is an organization that organizes quad racing competitions and events in the Nordic countries. It is part of the international Quad Racing Association (QRA) and provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in participating or spectating at these exciting events.

All competitors must follow the rules laid out by the QRA which include safety regulations, race formats, track rules, vehicle and driver specifications as well as penalties for any breach of rules. In addition, different countries may have additional regulations to meet local requirements.

Anyone aged 14 or over with a valid driving license may take part in a quad racing competition provided they obtain prior authorization from their national governing body or QRF and abide by safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective clothing.

Races are held at different tracks around the world, including approved circuits in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In addition to this, races may also take place on closed-off public roads or off-road locations such as sand dunes and forest trails.

Competitors must use vehicles that comply with all safety regulations and have been authorized for use by their particular class which includes all terrain vehicles (ATVs), recreational off-road vehicles (ROVs), utility task vehicles (UTVs) and motorcycles designed specifically for competitive off-road racing.

The cost of entry varies depending on the race, with additional charges if you require assistance or special equipment. Entry fees normally cover race entry, insurance and access to pre-race briefings and other officials' services onsite.

Before competing it is important to ensure that your vehicle meets all regulations set out by QRF including weight limits, engine size restrictions and noise emissions levels. It's also important to make sure you have appropriate protective clothing such as helmets & gloves for safety reasons.
