What does PUMA mean in MARTIAL ARTS

PUMA stands for Professional Unification of Martial Arts. It is a collective body of martial arts practitioners dedicated to unifying the different styles and systems under one global organization. The main purpose is to promote fair and equal access to martial arts by sharing knowledge and resources across all countries, schools, and styles.

PUMA works to bring practitioners from different disciplines, skills level, experience, cultures and backgrounds together in order to create a unified platform for the exchange of ideas and methods. Through this unification of approaches and techniques, it aims to increase its members's know-how and skill levels which will benefit both them as well as the entire martial arts community.

Membership costs vary depending on your level within the organisation but range from 25USD to 100USD annually (if applicable).

Yes - all prospective members must demonstrate good physical health as well as mental discipline when practicing their arts before they can be approved for full membership. They should also have a basic understanding of kung fu principles/theories including China's five animals (dragon, tiger, crane, snake & leopard), ten form systematic training methods or twenty-four defensive postures (tien shou).

Yes - we host regular online Zoom tournaments where members can demonstrate their skill levels & training level against each other globally through friendly competitions allowing them to gain ranking points & qualification scores towards becoming an official Full Member within our organisation. We also hold periodic seminars & workshops hosted by certified instructors throughout Asian countries such as China & South Korea providing practical training sessions for attendees looking for even more in-depth learning opportunities beyond what they can get through online activities alone.

Yes - accredited instructors who possess certifications from recognized organizations such as Chuan Fa International Kung Fu Federation (CFKFF), World Organization Wushu Kungfu Federation (WOWKF), International Sanshou Dao Association (ISDA) can teach classes within our organisation after being approved by our board committee board committee first during an evaluation process which includes submission of valid documents verifying their status & qualifications.
