What does PTU mean in UNIONS

Pro Tri Union (PTU) is the professional union of triathletes worldwide. It is an organization that represents and advocates for the interests of professional triathletes around the world.

PTU provides its members with a platform for representation and advocacy, as well as support and resources through their various competitions. Additionally, they offer educational programs to educate athletes about sport safety, nutrition, career development, injury prevention and more.

All professional triathletes are eligible to become members of PTU regardless of nationality or geography. There are membership levels for both amateur and elite athletes with different benefits associated with each membership level.

By joining PTU, members have access to a variety of resources and services such as legal representation in disputes concerning athlete rights and contractual matters, information on health insurance protection plans, financial advising services, education courses on topics related to athlete performance, career development programs and more. Additionally, they receive ongoing updates on new sponsorships opportunities among other benefits.

To join PTU one must first fill out an application form available on their website at www.protriunion.org/join/. After submitting the application form an annual fee applies based on membership level that must be paid before being approved as a member.
