What does AUL mean in US GOVERNMENT

Air University Library, commonly known as AU Library, provides library services to the United States Air Force. With over 500,000 books and documents as well as access to a variety of electronic resources, the library is a great resource for students and faculty seeking scholarly research materials.

To access the AU Library’s resources, you must be affiliated with Air University in some way (e.g. as a student or faculty member). If you have been granted access to the library, simply log into your account using your assigned username and password to get started.

Unfortunately, AU Library does not offer public access since it is primarily funded by the USAF. However, members of the general public can still use some of our digital collections such as specialized databases that are available on our website.

The library staff at AU Library are always ready to help patrons with any research questions they may have or technical issues they experience while using our services. In order to borrow books and other items from AU Library, you must first register for a library card which requires proof of identification such as a valid government issued ID card (i.e., driver’s license). This registration will enable you to check out up to 10 items at a time and renew them if necessary.

Yes! The course reserves collection at CU Library contains textbooks and other material specifically requested by instructors for their courses which are available for two-hour loan periods in the short-term loan area of the library. Additionally, there are also digital collections specifically tailored for courses offered across different disciplines within Air University.

Yes! Interlibrary loan (ILL) services are offered at AU Library for current students, faculty, staff members and authorized affiliates who need an item that isn't currently held in our collection but is accessible via another library system within North America. All requests must be made via our online form which can be found on our website.

Yes! We have open study spaces located throughout all three floors of our facility for researchers who would like uninterrupted area to work on their projects or assignments without disturbance from other patrons in the building. Additionally we provide laptops which can be checked out temporarily on all three floors so visitors may have more flexibility when working on their tasks.

Throughout each semester we host a variety of special events both in person and virtually that range from lectures given by esteemed scholars to movie screenings related academic topics covered in courses offered at Air University.
