What does PSSC mean in SPORTS

The Philadelphia Sport and Social Club (PSSC) is an organization that provides members with access to various recreational sports leagues, social activities, special events, and entertainment opportunities. We strive to provide fun and exciting experiences for our members to live even healthier lifestyles.

You can join the Philadelphia Sport and Social Club through our website or by contacting us directly. You will need to fill out some basic information such as your full name, contact information, age group preference, available days/times, etc. Once we have this information we will be able to enroll you into the program.

The PSSC offers a number of different sports leagues for all levels of experience ranging from beginner to advanced. Sports offered include basketball, softball, flag football, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, kickball, volleyball and more!

Yes! In addition to offering several different sports leagues for our members we also host various social events throughout the year such as bar crawls or happy hours at local venues. We also partner with local businesses in order to bring exclusive discounts or experiences exclusively for our members.

We welcome players of all ages however most of our sports leagues are divided into two main age groups – 18-39 years old and 40+. For some social events there may be additional age restrictions or requirements depending on the activity so please make sure you read each event description before registering.

Yes there is a membership fee which varies depending on what type of membership you select. There are both individual memberships which allow one person access as well as team packages which give a discounted rate for multiple people signing up together. Prices range from $25-$200 depending on what type of package you choose.

Unfortunately no; all players are responsible for their own mode of transportation either by public or private vehicles depending on where they need to go for a game or practice session. We do try our best however if carpooling is an option that works for everyone involved then we certainly encourage it!

Depending on how many players you have in your group or team we offer several different types of membership packages specifically tailored towards specific sized teams whether it’s 4-10 players or 11+ players. Please check out more details about these options under Registration & Program Fees section on our website so that you can find one that best fits your needs!

Safety is always a priority at PSSC so before each game/practice starts all players must acknowledge understanding & receiving safety rules & regulations that should be followed at all times while participating in any activities within the club’s program guidelines. All participants are encouraged & expected follow these rules& regulations including properly using protective equipment when necessary & being awareof their surroundings at all times during play.

Photography/video recording is allowed at most venues within reasonable limits as long as it doesn't distract from play & doesn't create any inconvenience to other participants; please keep this in mind before doing so.Participants should also get permission from other persons present before taking photos/videos featuring them. Otherwise photography/video recording may not be allowed due venue specific policies.

Teams who already have their own uniforms and equipment may use them but if needed,we do offer rental equipment upon request -please note rental fees may apply in some cases. Additionally,all games require proper athletic shoes with non-marking soles unless agreed otherwise by field provider.
