History
AUBC was founded in 1874 and has enjoyed a long but successful history over the years. In 1923 they won the Irish International Championship and went on to represent South Australia at many other regattas, such as Henley-on-Yarra, Queen Elizabeth II Cup, New Zealand National Regatta and more. It was also part of the Australian national rowing team at six consecutive Olympics from 1984 — 2004. In addition to this it has consistently achieved success at state level competitions with many of their members being given awards for their outstanding efforts.
